Summary: lotzofuniquegoodies shares a notice about a generous promotion on an Australian selling board but expresses uncertainty about how long the promotion will last. brettjet38 criticizes the offer, suggesting it's mostly for show as most sellers won't list 250,000 items per month and proposes that lowering fees would be more beneficial. lotzofuniquegoodies agrees, suggesting that reducing fees on low-value transactions could be a good start, especially since sales have dropped, impacting sellers through high fees.
Look out sellers. Just spotted this very generous offer on the AU board. Kinda hope all the Australian sellers don't motor through their allotment. Not sure how long this promo has been up and running. I'm not registered to list on AU.

·3 years agoThat shows you the state of the economy...
Useless for 99.9% of eBay members, who even has 250,000 items to list, per month.
Just publicity using big numbers as a lure...
Why not give discounts on the fees?
Because that actually would cost money...

Probably will never happen but a good starting point would be reducing fees on low value transactions. Those sales do add up if you have enough of them. If your sales have dropped off (like for many) you are taking a major hit in fees vs spending change.
