Announcement - Combined shipping using auctions
Summary: lotzofuniquegoodies shared an announcement about enhancements to combined shipping for auction sellers on eBay. This feature is currently in testing and not visible to all users yet, with more improvements expected next year. However, lotzofuniquegoodies noted that the feature does not apply to 'Buy It Now' (BIN) listings, which is seen as a drawback since most listings are BIN. mrdutch1001 commented that they prefer using auction listings so they can adjust and combine shipping for multiple purchases, a sentiment echoed by msau4301. This discussion highlights the limitations of the current testing phase and the anticipation for more inclusive updates.
Just posted on the dot com announcement board.
Stay tuned, we’re enhancing this experience
We’re in the early stages of testing this solution, so you might start seeing buyer requests as combined shipping is gradually introduced. Don't worry if it's not visible to you yet!
Further improvements are coming to the experience, so stay tuned for future updates to be announced next year.

From a quick read it doesn't appear to be applicable for BIN unfortunately. That would be extremely helpful considering majority of listings now are in that form and cause the most grief for sellers and buyers.
Note: This is still in the testing phase.

·1 year agoOne of the reasons I still use auction listings is so that if a buyer purchases more than one auction format listing, I can adjust the shipping to accommodate combined shipping and send the appropriate revised invoice.
