Another seller feature gone!
Summary: visual-sound and other sellers expressed frustration about eBay removing the running sales total feature from the Orders page, which previously allowed them to track and compare sales with ease. lotzofuniquegoodies confirmed the issue persists, and devon@ebay mentioned a resolution is in progress. john_koenig99 noted the feature still works on the app, suggesting the change may only affect PC users. all-my-best described the problem as a severe disruption to operations, affecting bookkeeping and efficiency. Sellers are concerned about potential ongoing changes or unannounced tests by eBay, hoping for restoration of this feature.
Once again, EBay takes another step back on features for sellers. Now on your Orders page it only shows the total number of orders and the running sales total has dissappeared. Just like the Advanced Search that used to let you search your items by a price range, another feature that I used alot is gone. Yeah, yeah, Ebay reports. Having the sales totals for 90 days, this month, last month, this year, last year allowed you to quickly track and compare your $ sales totals with a couple of clicks. Maybe removing that is the point. Some sellers are having a hard time based on their product categories. Lots have left altogether. EBay, if you're listening or even care, THIS is a FAIL.

·1 week agoBug Report: Missing "Running Totals" on Orders Page / Manage Orders Layout....Recently, the running totals (cumulative financial breakdown) feature has completely disappeared from the interface. Previously, I could view a clear mathematical summary of selected orders, but now that section is completely blank/missing.
This is creating a severe bottleneck for daily operations, specifically because:
Bookkeeping Disruption: I can no longer quickly cross-reference daily or batch payouts against shipping costs.
Loss of At-A-Glance Data: Forcing sellers to manually calculate totals or export everything to a CSV just to see basic financial metrics slows down order processing significantly.
Troubleshooting already attempted:
Cleared browser cache and cookies.
Tested across multiple browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Safari) and noticed the same layout breakdown.
Toggled between different Seller Hub view preferences with no success.
Is anyone else experiencing this bug, or is eBay currently running an unannounced UI test? If an eBay community manager or developer reads this, please look into restoring this critical metric to the Orders dashboard as soon as possible.
Thank you.

·1 week agoThat's weird. I can still see the sales total for the usual 90-days lapse. Or are we talking about a different feature?

PC view. Unsure if it is still there for App. I was able to view last night and do any sorts I needed. I've checked it regularly for years. Was even better when it included sub totals for total sales/shipping. Then it morphed into sales + shipping/ebay tax collected without sub-totals. In the scheme of things tax and shipping are not technically seller profit. It's more like what eBay uses for fees collected.

It's possible that the change is only affecting the pc view. From checking with another user their display is fine with the app.

OP1 week agoI only use the PC not the app. Why would they remove for PC users only then?

·1 week agoI use PC only. I prefer being able to see everything vs up down, side to side and diluted options. Will eBay try to eventually phase out the pc version? Who knows??@visual-sound Usually when eBay features are removed (whatever they are) it has to do whatever can be done to speed up the app. Mostly very cosmetic type things (lipstick on a pig variety). Maybe all sellers use or don't but there is rarely the reasoning behind it. It just happens in the middle of the night. In other situations they are modifications made during major programming changes with surprise unimagined consequences. As for us on the user side challenging to report when there isn't place to do so.
From discussions with other sellers who use both app and pc, the app version is usually eBay lite compared to pc. I know of sellers that have to switch to a tablet or pc to complete some listings if they want to add a feature to a listing. And same goes for checking particular stats. I did a little digging but couldn't find anything recently reported on dot com about this change. Hopefully it is temporary but who knows.
As a side if you do some direct comparing the Canadian version of eBay is Lite Lite when you compare it directly to dot com. Add on may eventually appear on ca but rarely with the full tools like com. 2 top of head examples are the photo editing tool and discounted shipping for sellers.

Hi @lotzofuniquegoodies ! Can you confirm that yourself and others are not able the view the Orders page as expected?
lotzofuniquegoodies
·1 week ago@devon@ebay It's still showing the same way as reported 2 days ago. See screenshot below. Also see post from @all-my-best along with grief and extra work it is causing. Posts are no longer numbered except with a "time stamp". Several posts down.

HI @lotzofuniquegoodies ! Looks like their is a ticket open for the issue of sellers being unable to see the total amount next to the all orders or awaiting shipment or paid and shipped. The ticket number is ALERT17048 and the Product team is working on a resolution to roll out as soon as they can.
