Autopay
Autopay at 26 Jul at 22:00 PDT
The buyer wants to shop more, but they may check out early.
Received this message after selling something yesterday (19 July). I understood Autopay was immediate payment although I've also seen something about a "grace period". Of a whole week?? I state in my listings that payment is due within three days. How does the buyer get to override this?

Has the buyer actually paid?
Has the buyer been in touch or did you just get the Autopay message?
If you've been paid, how long have you given yourself to ship out the item?

OP3 weeks ago · EditedThe buyer has not paid. He has not been in touch. I'm not worried about him paying, I'm just surprised to get a message I've never seen before in 20+ years on eBay. Here's the AI explanation: "This means the buyer has opted into an eBay feature allowing them to delay payment for up to 7 days to combine shipping on future purchases. You do not need to ship yet. The order is on hold, and eBay will automatically process the payment on the date listed."
