Bank charged for shipping, despite Ebay having money from the sale

OP8 months agoNot a lite packet. The point is, why are shipping funds being sent to our bank accounts if Ebay is only going to withdraw them? Why not HOLD the shipping funds until Can Post, etc, send the bill and pay them, don't send (convert) the money because we loose money every time a transfer is done.

Much depends on your payout schedule...which is an automatic system and does not "do workarounds" to accommodate for any transactions that occur after eBay has started the process of that scheduled payout...

Was it a Lite Packet?
Did you have available funds when you printed the label?
Was the charge to your bank for the total amount of the label or was it an upcharge?

·8 months agoI believe Canada Post now bills after the item enters the mail stream. This has the bonus effect of not needing to cancel unused labels.
