It appears eBay during dark of night recently has removed displaying which items were sold using
best offer. I used to try to monitor to see the mix. Now it has become challenging to tell the difference.
If also made it valuable information for potential buyers to know if a seller was flexible with pricing.

eBay doesn't hide the fact an item sold, but it generally hides the exact accepted price in standard
search results, instead crossing out the original asking price. To reveal the true sale price of an item sold with a Best Offer
The cross out where applicable is MIA.

As a personal preference (everyone's) will differ my first check is to see if something has sold with best offer, followed by promoted and last the where to. Then the reflex check of the address not being hinky. Followed by shipping method chosen. Any notes from buyers used to show up easily. Now, not so much.
Totally agree with the heads up on changes...even if in their minds they seem minor. Follow up on much of anything is not really part of their M.O. Probably why as users we aren't permitted to rate them on it.
As a side hiding that above mentioned info can and does interfere with having an accurate idea of what items are being sold for.

On dot com found info it goes back even longer there. It was a recent observation for ca. eBay, for some reason is super focused on removing data/features including anything involving historical data that we used to be able to rely on....probably in the sake of server space, app access speed and personal info concerns.
