BEWARE Paypal security issues, they seem worse
Recently, i shipped a pallet of product to the U.S. and it is FAR harder than before. Prior to Trump, we could ship items on this way on code 321 if you were under $800, easy. Not now. Homeland Security wants you to join a system to ensure you aren't a terrorist. Brokerage and reams of paperwork are needed. Worst of all, paypal can bring in some kind of security check and lock up money for 21 days, in addition, they can force you to deposit the fund in your bank BEFORE sending them on to a third party instead of being able to do a payment directly from paypal funds, which means if you are dealing with Canadian funds, you are subject to TWO conversion costs plus the paypal fee, if any. And to top it off, the flunkies you get when you call paypal cannot provide ANY concrete reason as to why this is happening.
