If they opened a Not Received claim, immediately put your tracking number into the claim.
Tell your customer politely to ask family or roomates about the parcel.
Tell them to ask neighbours or the apartment supervisor about parcels incorrectly delivered.
Tell them to to the local (postal ? UPS?) outlet with the tracking number and ask for further details on the delivery. Some parcels are photographed when delivered.
Tell them to report the case of porch piracy to their local police. It won't help them, but it will help the police plan their prevention campaign.
