Buyer opened Item Not Received request but admits that his address was incomplete
Hello eBay community,
My funds are on hold because a buyer opened an item not received request. But in a previous message, he admitted that his address was incomplete. So that explains why the order cannot be delivered.
Any idea what I should do with that?
I fear that if I don't refund the buyer, eBay will take his side anyway and refund the buyer using my funds and that will affect my seller reputation.

·2 months agoI hope you have already put the tracking information into the Claim.
If not stop reading and do it.
EBay usually gives you a few days grace when you show them that you have shipped and the delay is on the part of the shipper. Fingers crossed.
If the shipper decides the shipment is Undeliverable, eBay will not require you to refund anything at all.

A good seller will refund the buyer when they get the shipment back .
But.
Eventually get it back, since Undeliverable packages are not a high priority for the shipping company.
It is up to you what will be refunded. Most sellers would not refund shipping and packaging costs, nor any fees including PL fees that they paid out to make the Failed Transaction.
