Can I get refund from Canada Post if late delivery?
Sent a pkg by CP expedited mail with insurance and it was supposed to be delivered by May 6th. Phoned in and had them check into it and it shook it loose and was finally delivered today, strangely an hour after my query. Can I get a shipping refund due to late delivery for an expedited pkg?

As long as it does not meet Canada Post Expedited Parcel delivery time standards, Canada Post will cough up a refund cheque for the shipping cost. Some people claim via the phone, I do mine by using the website.

OP10 years agoWell Canada Post is pulling a fast one. I called about the pkg today may 10th, tracking showed that it had left for delivery to the customer's post office on May 4 and then just sat there with no movement. Customer got no notice of a delivery at their PO. So this evening I get a notice that it has arrived at their PO and Can Post shows that it arrived on May 6th - the day it should have arrived! They have obviously changed the date since today it still showed undelivered. Anything I can do about this?
It cost me over $32 for shipping and insurance.
