Canada Post Tracked USA purchased from Stallion - black hole?

I have purchased a few labels of CP Tracked USA but all of them seems a black box. For several days there are no updates on Caanada Post website. The link in ebay is for strange reason taking me to the USPS under the same tracking number and there are also no updates (USPS still expecting the item, Canada Post still expecting the item).
Spke with Stallion and they said packages tendered to Canada Post already. And that agrees with the updates I see on the Stallion account, alhough it says exactly the packages are in transsit for a number of days.
Is this normal like this? The status didn't chage for almost 5 days on one of the packages I sent. These were a mix of COO China and non-China, all properly decraled and labeled.
Is it because CP is on strike?
Or is it better to buyer EasyPost etc directly CP labels to get the tracking updated faster? I assume CP is in no rush with those Stallion shipments.
