Canadian seller, default item shipping location seems to be US
Hi, I'm a Canadian seller and whenever I list something the default domestic location is US and international shipping is Canada whether I list on Ebay.com or Ebay.ca. My item shipping location is Canada in settings. I've been an ebay seller since 1998. Never was really an issue before, but with the recent tarrifs and other issue with shipping to US I want to exclusively sell to Canada and other locations but I can't seem to not ship to US. Any advice on what's going on?

·1 year agoWhen you ship a dotCOM purchase, you will be using Flat Rate shipping from an international location.
Only on dotCA, can you use Calculated Shipping.
Since your products are bulky and must go Parcel Rates, take time to run a few test shipping labels to various zipcodes and see the differences.
You can then put part of the highest cost into the asking price, to average out your shipping cost and allow you to break even on shipping.
(I use 90210 for California shipping and 02201 for East Coast) (It's the Boston city hall.)

You can update your business policies on eBay.ca to exclude US shipping (I have China items in my store that don't ship to the US).
