Change Shipping Options Due to Canada Post Strike
Summary: deborahrobinsonartist is seeking advice on changing shipping options for their listings due to a Canada Post strike. They are looking for a bulk edit solution but only find Canada Post listed as an option. recped suggests using Business Policies for bulk editing or the Bulk Editor, recommending alternatives like UPS or FedEx, and notes that changing options manually is feasible with only 12 active listings. deborahrobinsonartist expresses gratitude for the advice.
Is there a way to change my shipping options on all my listings, due to the Canada Post Strike? If there is an option to bulk edit, that would be a bonus. I went in to edit a listing and there are no other options to choose from, besides Canada Post. I shipped one out before the strike, and at the time of printing the label, it offered me UPS, and it was about $7.50 more, which I picked, and it arrived the day the strike started, eating the extra cost. If I had gone Canada Post, it would have been stuck.

·1 year agoDepends on if you are using Business Policies or not.
If you use Business Policies simply create a new one (or change the existing ones) and bulk edit to apply to whatever listings you want it for, you might need multiple policies.
If you do not use Business Policies you can still use the Bulk Editor to make the changes.
Of course with only 12 active listings you can just do them manually if a few minutes.
Keep in mind that Calculated Shipping is only available for UPS/FedEx which might not be the cheapest options.
