Changes to US shipping rates?

Hello,

Has there been changes made to US shipping rates?

Up until two days ago, I had the option to ship to the US using UPS for around $18 and Fedex for around $28. Now only Fedex is showing available and the cost is $50.

Like @flipistics, I’m wondering if there’s been a change to the FedEx service being offered, i.e., it’s no longer International Ground you’re paying for but a more expensive DDP service.

They've probably been having too many issues with refused deliveries, or maybe UPS is now getting rid of DDU and eBay hasn't adjusted things yet. Who knows. If you really want to still ship it UPS, you can do so with Click Ship (which also offers UPS DDP options if desired).

UPS and FedEx have rates that change with the demand for their services- like the surge pricing used by rideshare firms like Uber.

They have higher rates at busy times like the Christmas holidays.

Canada Post and licensed taxi firms have published rates and only change them occasionally.

Forgot to mention, I am not using EIS.
