So this isn't going to be a common issue i get it but ill lay it all out... So i have a collectible made in China in the early 1980s. Says "Make In the Peoples Republic of China" engraved on it clearly. (yes it says make not made very clearly, and yes the full PRC name is there as well... but all the items like this are the same so it's correct)I bought it in the US at a comicon type event, and have a receipt, was chaged sales tax, etc. There is a serial number. This was 12 years ago.I brought it back to Canada, I was under the exemption limit for customs including it for the trip so no paperwork there.I now want to sell it and the buyer will likely be in the US.The way i read it it should not have any tariff applied to it? Or does it... and if it could be avoided how can i ship it with the purchase documented to avoid the tariffs?
