Does EIS ship to Virgin Islands (U.S.) ???
Summary: transtraders inquired if EIS ships to the Virgin Islands (U.S.). Several participants responded but the responses did not provide a clear answer or additional information on shipping policies.
I tried searching around to find the anwser but couldn't find one.
Buyer contacted me today about shipping to the US virgin islands. I told him it would be shipping with EIS, so as long as they ship there I don't see a problem.
Just as a test I changed my ship to location to Virgin Islands (U.S.) on one of my items but it does not show a price for EIS, it just says contact seller. So does EIS not ship there or is there certain item exclusions to that location?

·5 months agoWeird. I’m on my phone and using the app right now and the US Virgin Islands definitely shows up as a shipping location on the listing page for the Wii console.

OP5 months agoYeah I saw that too. But it doesn't give a price for EIS shipping, which is wierd.
The item sold to a Canadian today, so I guess I won't find out if the Virgin Islands customer would have been able to purchase it or not.

·5 months agoUS Virgin Islands is considered a part of the USA. Shouldn't be an issue. Unless eBay's AI is blocking the item for some whackadoodle reason.
According to Googles AI:
Yes, you can generally ship a Nintendo Wii console from Canada to the US Virgin Islands using eBay International Shipping (eIS). The program supports shipments from Canadian sellers to international destinations, including US territories. The item must be under $2,500 USD, meet weight/size restrictions, and be listed on eBay.
There is this from Quora. According to the page they handle their own customs. Unsure if eIS over rides that provision.

·5 months agoI can't see it being any different than shipping to Puerto Rico.

·5 months agoWhat is the item? Some of the territories have special restrictions for some types of goods, including textiles.

OP5 months agoThe item in question is a Wii-U console only. But I checked a couple other items and it still won't spit out a price for EIS shipping.

·5 months agoDo the US Virgins have a USPS postal code? Then yes.
To find one the city hall of the capital city of the territory should have a useable address including zipcode.
