Fees include taxes and are calculated based on sold price plus shipping and taxes paid by the buyer. It appears that the listing was promoted as well, thus the additional Ad Fee (yikes!)
CDs fit in the category of "Music", for which eBay charges 15.3% fees. Higher than most other categories.
If the sale is eIS you are also paying tax on shipping to hub which factors into fees. If you were able to ship direct to USA no sales tax on shipping. I've gotten dinged a few times on heavy books which have a similar rate. And that double ding if the item happens to be promoted.

·2 weeks agoMakes sense. You paid about 16% to eBay, which fits with the 15.3% for Music category, plus per-sale fees/taxes/etc.
Plus it looks like you promoted at about 6%? Could have saved $30 USD if you didn't do that, but then it might not have sold (or not sold as fast).
