Does your seller status for USA affect how you show up in the app for Canadian buyers? | Selling

Canadian seller quesiton - I got a notification that my Top Rated Seller status for Region: USA was on a grace period because I fell under the volume/sales numbers for the US. I still have Top Rated Seller status for Region: Global and it's set to stay that way, as the majority of my sales are to Canadians. I know that if you drop from Top Rated to Above Standard in a region, you will show up less frequently in the algorithm for customers in that region. I assume then it means it will only hurt my listing visibility for Americans who are using the .com website, but not for Canadians using the .ca one. However, I've heard that the Ebay app in Canada uses the .com website, instead of .ca My question is: is this true, and if so, does this mean my listings will be hurt in the algorithm for Canadians shopping on the app, even though I'm still Top Rated for Global? Or will this genuinely only affect how my listings show up to Americans? Thanks for any advice!
