eBay charged me more than I received during a refund, why is this the case?

I recently had an issue with an order that I had to refund. Will not go into details besides: I never shipped the itemI cancelled the order as the seller and refunded the buyer Prior to this ordeal, eBay paid out directly to my bank account. I was given C$368 via an EFT deposit. During the refund, I was asked to send funds from my bank, and was charged $380 from my bank account, shipping credits and other fees were applied from the account. Nevermind, I got it sorted. It was a shipping label from a PREVIOUS order that got billed.
