eBay label problem with Israel

Hello all,
I just had an order from Israel. The customer was able to buy the item and pay. They used International Tracked Package.
When I go to buy the label on eBay label for Israel, there is no options at all. the only one is Fedex and is greyed out.
I don't see any problem on Canada Post website concerning Israel. We might have to go to the post office to check in place. But, we won't be able to offer tracking, since the customer paid with the eBay discount...
Why were they able to buy and pay and get a price with the Automatic shipping calculation but I'm not able to buy labels?

·1 year agoCanada Post stopped blocking shipments to Israel a couple of weeks ago. eBay still has the country blocked for their own reasons I assume.
While it's not recommended to ship there for obvious reasons, if you must you can do so by purchasing the label directly through Canada Post.

OP1 year agoSo, the eBay labels is still not working. I still cannot buy labels from there.
But, as you all can see, there is no alerts on Canada Post website now.

It seem that I could buy directly from Canada Post website ?
I had to go with Chit Chat this time, because even Shippo is not allowing Israel's labels.
@devon@ebay Any news on when it will be possible to ship with eBay labels to this country?
On ChitChat and on their tracking page, here is the message shown:
"Israel Postal Company is continuing to provide all postal services, inbound and outbound, countrywide. In the areas most heavily impacted by the conflict, the necessary measures have been taken to ensure that all postal items are delivered to customers including address forwarding and extending the retention period for unclaimed items to 30 days before they are returned."

·1 year agoWe had an order to Israel ~2 months ago and I had the same issue. I've since blocked Israel. I managed to send tracked through a courier using Stallion Express and it has still not been delivered. Unless something has changed, you cannot even visit the Israeli Post website without getting a 403 Forbidden message.

This has been an ongoing issue for years now and shipping to Israel just isn't worth the trouble.

For the moment I've blocked the country again. I will see how my current shipments are behaving (one is very big). So that's the most risks I'm willing to take, at the moment. 😉

OP1 year agoI was able to get a label for Israel from Chit Chat only. They use a partner for some international shipping based in the Netherlands, I think.

·1 year agoI've seen this complaint before.
For whatever reason eBay's integration of Canada Post is just missing several destination countries that Tracked Packet is available for. No idea why.
Make sure you're notifying eBay about this so they can at least log the issue. I would imagine that it doesn't come up very often simply because a lot of people have chosen to block Israel as a ship-to country due to the political unrest in the area.

OP1 year agoYes, that may cause delay but still operating. I was able to send with tracking no issues. Nothing said in particular at the post office.
We will then see how it goes.

OP1 year agoOk guys, here's the solution.
I tried Shippo for the first time. Was easy to connect my eBay account and I could buy the label from there with the ebay discount.
So the problem seem to be on eBay website directly only. Using Shippo, it's working fine.
