eBay needs to update Labels for 41 countries for Tracked Packet Int'l eff. June 2024
Summary: A participant highlights that Canada Post expanded the list of countries eligible for Tracked Packet International as of June 2024 to 41, but eBay's label system is still showing only 31. mandicrafts experienced an issue when trying to ship a package to Israel, where only an expensive option was available despite Israel being on the Tracked Packet eligible list. reallynicestamps and several others discuss how eBay's calculator hasn't been updated to reflect this expanded list and other discrepancies like inaccurate service options and lack of important shipping details. pjcdn2005 seeks clarification on whether it's possible to print a Tracked Packet label for Israel through eBay.
Canada Post eff. June 2024 now lists 41 countries eligible for Tracked Packet Int'l.
eBay Labels is not updated and still only has 31 countries.
I had a package for Israel and it only showed XPress Post as a tracked option and it was small so well within the Tracked Packet dimensions and weight. Israel is now on the Tracked Packet eligible list.
Link to Canada Post June Updated Commerical pages. And screen print of those 41 countries.

Just to confirm...When I use the ebay calculator it does show a Tracked Packet price to Israel but you are saying that it isn't possible to print a label for Tracked Packet on eBay?

The eBay Calculator was released well over a year ago for Canadians. Unfortunately it was never fully functional/updated/corrected accordingly since then, even after numerous requests. The information in that tool should be a 100% match to what buyers see when discounted shipping is turned on including as noted in post 1.
The UPS non discounted/discounted option is still not included. Available services are incomplete and/or inaccurate. There should be additional service options for CP/Fedex/UPS to match exactly what are included with eBay labels. Options like additional insurance, shipping tubes were never added accordingly. And most importantly a breakdown of the final charges (fuel/discount/tax/) STILL are not included. From dot com forum those breakdowns. All things that show when one uses the CP calculator. Only issue with using that one is we do not have access to applicable discounts. Important for anyone chooses/prefers to use flat rate shipping to provide buyers with "realistic" pricing for shipping and so sellers don't lose money in the process.
Fixes like these are actually more critical than the random tinkering eBay has been doing as of late. And, not sure about everyone else but would be much more appreciated in the scheme of things when we are talking about eBay improvements.

As a most important side the default for USA Tracked/Expedited/Xpresspost) should never have been shipping worldwide internationally. The rates aren't even close to similar. Very easy for a seller to miss during the listing creation process. Major interface faux pas!!!!
