Ebay Suspends Ad Account for 0.42% Defect and Then Proceeds to Take Ad Spend on Sales
Summary: oakridgegroup posted about an issue with eBay suspending their ad account due to a 0.42% defect rate and expressed frustration over eBay continuing to take ad spend on sales despite the suspension. recped responded, but no further details were provided in the response.
Hey Guys,
Just wanted everyone to be aware of this. We are contacting customer support as we speak. Firstly, suspending an ad account for a 0.42% defect rate is complete nonsense and costs everyone money. Secondly, to be barely making any sales and then the ones we do, having eBay still try and take ad spend from them is a complete disregard for the seller.
This needs to be fixed asap.
So disappointed in the service this platform has provided recently.
Thanks,

·9 months agoWhy contact eBay? The Defect Policy is clear and they are not going to change it just for you.
As far as the Ad fees, while you may no longer be using promotions you will potentialy have promotion fees for 30 days after you (or eBay) ended the promotions you were doing (again, the policy is clear).
Why did you earn those 4 unresolved by seller Defects?
