Hi, we have a basic store subscription with ebay so that we can have a larger amount of listings without paying insertion fees. Im trying to post an auction for a valuble video game and we have no auction style listings used out of the 250 free ones that ebay says we have with the store subscription, yet at the bottom of the page where i put the ad informtation it says theres an insertion fee of $0.28. Im wondering why this is the case when we should have more than enough free auctions available.

OP1 year agoI'm just confused, because before we had a store subscription, we had video games posted as auctions without any insertion fees, but now that we're paying a subscription they're saying we can only post auctions for collectibles and fashion?

·1 year agoI've totally given up on auctions. Either I was trying to use in a non applicable category or any reserve fee bumped up the listing charges. If you click on the tab where it mentioned the fee (hover) it should give you a breakdown of what any applicable charges would be. The joys of fine print. The categories are definitely very limited going forward for auctions.

OP1 year agoAh, it would appear for some reason Video Games are not in the free catageory for auctions but they are for buy it now.

·1 year agoIf you don't have a store you can list a total of 250 listings at no charge in fixed price listings or as auctions with no category limits.
If you have a store, you are limited to listing free auctions in the following categories.
