eIS - Am Enrolled. Exclude ship locations : USA. Items DON'T show up on ebay.COM. What do I do?
Summary: vhtfbeauty is facing an issue where items enrolled in eIS and excluding shipping locations to the USA are not appearing on eBay.com. There is no further information or suggestions provided by other participants in the discussion.
Hi, I was advised by other, more seasoned Cdn eBayers that if I want my stuff to show up on .COM and use eIS, I should make sure I'm enrolled in eIS (yes I am). And then to "exclude" the US from countries I'm willing to ship to (so I did that). They said that if I did that, my items would show up on .COM, and eIS would take care of tariffs, etc, I would just ship to the Cdn eIS hub.
But my items do NOT show up on .COM. Which to me only makes sense as I have them Excluded. But yeah, all these sellers told me that's how it's done.
What do I do to make it so that: 1. My items show up on .COM. -and- 2. eIS "Takes care of everything", I only ship to their hub in Canada, *they* forward to USA.
The pic I attached is what a US buyer would see if they went to ebay.CA (unlikely in itself), clicked on my items, and clicked on US under shipping.

·5 months agoYour items aren't showing eIS options because the majority of your listings are makeup products which are seemingly not eligible for the eIS program at the moment. There can often be additional hurdles associated with shipping health and beauty products over international borders, so I assume eBay Canada has just excluded entire categories until they feel they are able to handle it.
If I look at all your listings and change my location to the US then 13/204 of them do show eIS - they are all in "safe" categories such as bags and clothing.

It's more likely that there's issues with getting the type of items you're selling across the border, and those items probably aren't eligible for the program. I think it falls under some health and safety regulations which became relevant with the elimination of the de minimis.
