EIS and AI have major shipping problems to the USA.
After several months with EIS, we are still experiencing major problems with shipping to the USA. One out of three items still doesn't display the shipping rates to the USA. I think the artificial intelligence is either too intelligent or the opposite. I can list a lamp with an elephant, and the postal rates are OK, but a lamp with a panther is impossible. Ridiculous.

·5 months agoNot too long ago, I read that the term "Artificial Intelligence" was likely coined as a marketing term because terms like "machine code" weren't sexy enough to grab the attention of the average consumer.
If you took computer science in high school like I did, you'll probably remember that computers don't "think" the way people do. They follow instructions and formulae. The instructions "if. . .then" are largely what they follow. "Burgundy is a colour. Burgundy is also a wine-producing region of France. "If the item is described as burgundy, then it shouldn't be listed because it could be wine." That sort of thing.

OP5 months agoI changed the title from ''Vintage Mid Century 1950s Burgundy Panther TV Lamp'' to ''VINTAGE 1950s POTTERY PANTHER lamp'' and it works.........

·5 months agoMaybe AI recognizes "century" as a red flag? And the phrase "TV Lamp" possibly implies that is a spare part for repairs, and not an accesory.
I'm just guessing away, of course...
