eIS is now active on my account. Seeing reports of many other sellers reporting this as well on FB groups. Here we go on the train, hoping it doesn't derail in the 1st 5 minutes!
Just got my first US order in months with eIS. Hopefully all goes well. The program doesn't seem to work seamlessly yet according to other sellers in this forum...
I'm so exhausted dealing with all this. First the tariffs, then the Canada Post strike, now eIS... I opened my little store to sell some of my vintage collections after losing my job, everything was going really well until August when the de minimis bullcrap was rolled out. Most of my sales were from US buyers and shipping prices were really cheap for them (sometimes cheaper than selling locally in Canada!). Now I haven't sold anything for months, hardly any views on my listings, and I haven't been able to sell locally either.
I can't imagine the anxiety this is causing for fulltime sellers on sites like eBay and Etsy. I feel for you guys, this is such a **bleep** mess.
Just got my 1st order, hope it goes well. I really wish eBay would give us a pricing tool so I can adjust some prices for US buyers only just to help stay a little more competitive with US sellers.
Any suggestions? Was thinking maybe creating some kind of a coupon or promo offer but don't want to tick off CAD buyers either. I'm assuming that EIS goes by our domestic shipping so can't apply an INTL shipping discount.
