ENDING THEN RELISTING A ITEM
how many times do you think you have to end your listings and them relist them with all those issues that alwasy arrise doing so to see a bump in sales - i have been doing this twice a month and the first time i did it it worked and was pleased but now after three attempts over month and half ,ending and relisting all my 2000 listings nothing seems to work -- also i have for one reason or another lost a few items listing each time each time i relist then after a few days put on a heavy discounted sale- 25% most items which are at exptremly low prices already with free shipping - i seem to get a bump in views which is good but sales no improvemnt -- i have reviewed most of my listings to see with free shipping that i have the lowest prices of identical or similar products- so price is not the issue -- i thought ending then relisting would improve sales getting that bump they talk about in the forums -- but so far in the last month iam wrong to think that -- has anyone else tried a simllar pattern or come up with a winning stratergy
-- maybe iam doing it too much -- i have had no sales whatso ever in last 8 days -- -- has anyone used best offer platform to success ?of course i have to revert to customer paid shipping- -- any suggestions ? i do see that promo listing people seem all to use it alot and at high rates 10%to 15 % and more in some cases -- when - i get to being out of the dog house with ebay 2.78 defect rate again i will try that -- but till that happens i am stuck with what tools i have -- are their any that iam not awhere of ?

·3 years agoI noticed the same here, so you are not alone. Earlier, It worked like a charm. Now, it doesn't work any more.

·3 years agoYou are asking $249.99 for something worth like $60.00. You do a $150.00 discount and you are still heavily overpriced. This is like this on all your listings, i pointed it several times.

·3 years agoI've never seen an offer from sending out offers to watchers....I figure most of my watchers are people that have the same or similar item and are letting me 'test the waters'. Having said that, this week 3 watched items moved....who knows these days.
Always found ebay slower in the summer months as people have too much other stuff to do. Evening ending listings do seem to do better for us.
I have only used promoted listings once. Found it too expensive.
Ending and relisting.....hmmmm, with a freshened up image and description, it might just help a bit.
I'm trying a few now with free shipping and it does not seem to make a difference...they are still sitting there.
Happy summer selling!

·3 years agoI've heard that ending and relisting no longer works, and selling similar may not either unless a certain amount of time has passed. I can't verify that though.
I rarely use best offer unless someone contacts me and offers something acceptable (then I use best offer to handle the deal rather than messing with the price). I do send out offers to watchers though. I actually get quite a few sales that way.

·3 years agonow after three attempts over month and half ... nothing seems to work
If it doesn't work, don't do it.
lost a few items listing each time each time i relist
Keep a desktop file of your pictures and descriptions which are the hardest parts to recreate
a heavy discounted sale- 25% most items ...but sales no improvemnt
If it doesn't work, don't do it.
has anyone used best offer platform to success ?
Yes. About half my sales are Best Offer
of course i have to revert to customer paid shipping
Best Offers do not include shipping.
You can set parameters to automatically accept /reject.
If the current price with Free Shipping is $50, and you want to get at least $30+$10 shipping set the Reject to $39.99 with Free Shipping and the Accept to $40.01 with Free Shipping.
that promo listing people seem all to use it alot and at high rates 10%to 15 % and more in some cases
Those are eBay's suggestions.
EBay's suggestions are good for eBay.
Most use PL at lower rates.
Don't mix PL and Best Offer.
