How can I remove a question on Seller Hub
Summary: murphcrud experienced an issue with an 'unanswered question' notification on their Seller Hub. Although they tried several methods to clear it, including removing and saving the item number, the issue persisted. lotzofuniquegoodies suggested options through editing posts, but this was unclear to murphcrud. sapphyres-designer-jewellery clarified that the issue was about marking the question as answered, not removing a post. Finally, murphcrud resolved the problem by deleting and relisting the item. hansatrade and sapphyres-designer-jewellery shared similar experiences with no direct solution noted.
There appears to be an unanswered question on my Seller Hub. I see it marked as being unanswered. When I attempt to view the question, I only see the eBay number pertaining to the item, with no question being asked. I have removed this number and attempted to save the removed entry but when I return to my Sellers Hub, I see that the question is still in the system. I have tried this numerous times over the past month, but it continues to reappear. Any suggestions, other than end the item and relist it?

·2 weeks agoI would try to end and relist the item. It should remove the notification.

·2 weeks agoI was putting up listings tonight and saw I had one with a question. I tried checking many spots to see where to remove it so I could tell you, but there didn't appear to be a way.

You as OP should have option to request a removal. When you post you can remove and edit with what appears to be no time limit.

·2 weeks ago · EditedThe only way I currently know of removing a post is by the options included with More tab below a post. If that is not working it is most likely an internal issue with eBay.
As a side if eBay if considers a post "not to their liking" eBay will just not approve and then it gets archived off to never never land to become invisible. That's what has happened to a few recent posts by sellers who believe this is where they either "advertise" or "create" listings.

·2 weeks agoOP doesn't want to remove a post, he wants to mark a question on an item as answered because there's nothing to answer and he doesn't want to keep seeing a notification that he has a question to answer.
Unfortunately I don't know the answer since I just ignore such notifications. I have something like 100 unanswered questions on items (because when they reply and say Thank you and there's nothing more for me to say, it shows up as an unanswered question).
Just clarifying what the OP needed answered since these replies don't seem to address their concerns.

OP2 weeks agoUnderstood. I just ended the listing and later relisted it. Problem solved.
