How to get signed up with managed payments on eBay.ca?
I have an account registered on eBay.ca, which hasn't sold anything in probably 5 years. It's not signed up with managed payments, I'm sure of that.
It will let me start making listings (although I won't since I don't have MP). I'm trying to find where I can sign up for MP and verify my bank account and can't figure that out.
Can someone show me where I go and look to verify it's not signed up for MP?

OP1 year agoCSR helped me set it up, they're verifying my bank account right now.
They've advised me since this is a new selling account (haven't sold on it in a while) then they'll put payments on hold.
Seems all good to go to keep selling in Canada.

OP1 year agoThanks! Sorry for having to ask some newbie questions... this account was set up in 1998 and I kind of did things as eBay told me it was required.
I did notice on the other account (set up in 2015 actually), it didn't ask for my SIN. It's doing a micro deposit of 0.01 on the bank account I added and I was told on the phone they will try to withdraw it in a couple of days, but the end of the week the bank account should be verified.
Not 100% sure every thing is set up yet, but I like the idea of using an existing account and not starting fresh in 2025. I did notice on this existing eBay account a 5000 item listing limit with a high total, so although I haven't listed stuff in years, it looks as though I'm good to go.
