I can't seem to get back my listings on .com. Help
Summary: musicyouneed reported an issue where their listings disappeared from the .com website after changing shipping settings for the US. They initially assumed just allowing shipping to the US would solve the problem, but later learned from customer service that they must specify a service and cost. They set a high shipping cost to deter US buyers but ensure visibility on .com. nhl_automotive and chicweb discussed similar experiences and potential bugs, with chicweb noting that the issue is specific to Canada, not other countries. transtraders mentioned their listings show up on .com without USA services, possibly due to their account being older. The discussion also touched on unpredictability and issues with eBay's system.
I removed the US and then my listings disappeared. I put it back hours ago and they still can't be seen. I went to do a search on .com and this showed up. That is my postal code and it shows that there is no inventory at that postal code. What am I doing wrong? My reply all my listings show up on .ca

·11 months agoMine are showing on .com even though I don't have any USA services. Not sure whats going on with yours. Wierd.

OP11 months agoYes, they are, how did you do that? Mine wouldn't show up unless I put a shipping amount for the US.

·11 months agoI am not sure how I did it, maybe because my account was originally registered on .com? This account is pretty old, from 1999.

OP11 months agoMine too, from 2002 before .ca. But I have put myself on time away till the middle of next month. I am just wondering it my item was made in the US and I am shipping it back to the US, how will that work.

OP11 months agoYours are no longer showing up on .com as far as I can see.

OP11 months agoI contacted customer service. It is not enough just to indicate that you will ship to the US, you must provide a service and cost. I tried one and it works. I am just going to make it really high $25 and hopefully no US customer will buy it. But at least it will show up on the .com searches.

They seem to be up and running now on both sites. It's the old eBay version of tape delay!!
musicyouneed
OP11 months agoYes only if I put in US shipping. I put it as $25. Do you know that you don't show up on .com?

Should i be surprised? Not really. Lately nothing ebay does surprises me. Hopefully that question gets addressed by ebay asap!!!

OP11 months agoNo I didn't migrate from .ca to .com. I just changed my shipping on .ca from not shipping to the US back to shipping to the US so my items could be visible on .com

·11 months agoThat's the problem if you block the United States. It's a bug.
What is weirder, is that if you change your country to anywhere else in the world, your .com store will show your products. Only Canada isn't working.
That's one reason why I unblocked the United States.

·11 months agoIf you migrated to .ca from .com then yeah, it'll take a day or two to fix itself. I've never bothered to use .com and my listings show up on there just fine.

OP11 months agoIt does show up on .ca just not .com.
