I just noticed at least on .ca that you can screen COO, that is great, not sure about .com
Summary: musicyouneed observed that the ability to screen Country of Origin (COO) was available on the .ca site but uncertain for .com. Upon further investigation, found it was possible on .com but not prominently displayed. recped noted their inability to find COO as a filter on either site. byto253 mentioned they hadn't found a method for COO filtering with their listings, but musicyouneed shared a workaround using Music CD searches, showing results filtered by COO and location. lotzofuniquegoodies appreciated this information, acknowledging limitations like "unknown" or single-option selection issues in listings for CDs and magazines.

Checked .com and it didn't show and then when I went back to .ca it didn't show either. I think that they are working on showing it. I know you can filter it now but I would like it to show right up front.

·11 months agoI have seen that for general searches, but I can't find a way to do that with just my listings.

OP11 months agoI just tried it this way. Go search Music CD's then screen for COO then according to nearest. It shows me all the CD's COO Canada and nearest to me. That is what I figured out so far. There may be a better way but that works.

·11 months agoInteresting and good to know that it is now there. Will work fine for anything with original packaging. Most likely in many cases due to the age of some listings or out of package it gives you the filter "unknown". Mixed listings with multiple countries will hopefully start giving option to check off more than 1 when applicable. Not likely though. Similar thing happens listing mixed lots of books. Will only let you select 1 year or month for magazines.

Perhaps, I tried to see if Country Of Origin was one of the available search filters earlier in the week and I was not able to see it. I just tried again and I'm not seeing it offered as a filter.
