is anyone else been having a spike in orders from blocked countries recently ? i use business policies and i have a large quantities of blocked countries that i do not wish to ship to, yet im at the 6th or 7th order this week from various blocked countries and each time i verified my business policy was correctly applied to that listing and that the specific country was blocked.

i called ebay about it of course but while ive yet to get a comeback on that i still get those orders in

Another setting to check if it has changed is:

'Block buyers whose primary shipping address is in a location to which I don’t ship'

What is listed in the 'Ships To' for the mail service?

I can recreate what I see on your listing as locations you ship to without all the exclusions if I have set international lettermail to ship worldwide for example.

Doing this ignores the excluded list that's set when I have worldwide as 'ships to'.

Also check the 'Additional locations' section.

it really shouldnt. this is not how it ever worked before, the excluded list bypass that by default. ill check it out to see what it says but that part usually dont matter at all

again there's no mistake anywhere, i have no made ANY modifications of my policies are shipping preference, this problem started earlier this week. i know what EIS is, i am part of it and will post one last screenshot of one of the order to show that its a direct order and not to ebay missisauga

heres a few screenshots. i AM opted in business policies, all my listings are assigned to the correct policies and each of those policies correctly exclude those countries that somehow are able to still purchase.

What is in your "Ships To" section for international services you have in the policy? Do you have only the countries you will ship to set there?

To be clear by blocked you mean you have everything except countries you ship to checked in the 'Excluded locations' section at the bottom of the policies?

EBay Shipping International (eIS) is fairly recent, and you may not realize you are opted in.

The address you would see would be going to Mississauga, although there is a lot of other internal delivery information in there.

The seller cannot easily see where the shipment will end up, but that is not important since once it gets to the Mississauga plant, all responsibility for delivery is held by eIS.

Are these orders coming to you with the supposedly Blocked destination address clear?

We are able to click on the buyers user name. Their about page will say where they are physically located. (Unless it defaults to another freight forwarder in USA)

hi. ive very familiar with EIS. been part of it since it rolled for canada, its not it, those are orders to ship directly to buyers address.

Have you Opted Out of eBay's International Shipping? If not, since it was a gradual roll out, maybe they slotted you in now so any country you have blocked would not apply.

If you go to your account settings>Shipping Preferences>Exclude shipping locations...are those countries to which you do NOT want to ship to checked ?

they are. but at this moment business policies are overriding that page so id have to opt out of business policies to make manual modification.

When I checked out the shipping on one of your items, there was a very lengthy, very extensive list of countries, so which countries are you NOT shipping to(or not wanting to ship to?)

a very very lenghty list of 107 for tracking only listing and more than 160 for lettermail listing that are blocked on my side, my business policies are active and do NOT allow those countries to purchase yet its as if they werent being aplied at all

On the listing I checked, Argentina,Chile, Mexico were countries included in that extensive list of countries that you DO ship to

I am aware of what you are saying but that's the exact issue , those countries are blocked in ALL my shipping policies and ALL my listings are assigned to business policies. ive confirmed MULTIPLE times that its blocked and it shouldn't be possible. im just wondering if other sellers had that issue. make no mistake I've already got a case number on this subject and its being looked at, im trying to find workarounds so I don't have to cancel a bunch of orders while I get a fix

Can you confirm which countries are "sneaking" through? Have you personally tested any of those countries with your other up and running listings to see what displays?

i have also no tested it but confirmed with the ebay agent that its indeed available to those countries. but with the settings i have it shouldnt be possible at all no matter the shipping method
