Is there a way to ship to USA normally and still use EbayInternationalShipping Program overseas?
Summary: retroconnekt asked if there's a way to ship domestically within the USA while still utilizing the eBay International Shipping Program for overseas shipments. marnotom! and reallynicestamps acknowledged the question, but there were no further details or solutions offered by them in their responses.
I must have accidentally opted into ebay international shipping ...thinking I was enabling it for only Europe ... but the first customer to use it was USA and I feel bad for how much she paid. I hadn't even added USA shipping options to that listing as I was only intending to offer that listing within Canada.....but because EIS was turned on the sale went stateside and I was inclinded to do what eBay was telling me to do which is ship it to the hub.
it was probably double what It would have cost her for shipping the way I had done previously, also going forward I dont want US customers to be even more discouraged because of high rates on top of Tarifs........
but I still would like to try using it for overseas.... is there a way to turn it off for the USA and only keep it for further destinations?

If you use a different shipping service, the shipper will be charging your buyer duty and tariff on their doorstep.
The eIS is a Seller Protection program.
The cheapest way to ship to the USA is using letterpost if the package is under 500 grams and 2cm thick. But this would be both untracked and illegal.
Don't secondguess the customer.
