July 24th Tariff Changes
Summary: sapphyres-designer-jewellery is seeking clarification on tariff changes set to take effect on July 24th, specifically regarding an item previously exempt from Section 122 tariffs. They were unexpectedly charged a 10% fee by a courier for shipping the item to the US. Despite opening a support ticket, they have not received a satisfactory explanation and suspect some exemptions may have changed, leading to the new charges.
Does anyone here know what's happening on July 24th when the new tariffs take effect?
I have an item that I had previously shipped that was not subject to Section 122 (it's specifically mentioned as exempt) and today Stallion charged me 10% to ship this item to the US. My package is supposed to cross on July 24th. I opened a ticket, but they aren't very good at answering questions about tariffs because of all the confusion (I think they might just not know).
I'm wondering if on July 24th some exempt items are now subject to new tariffs and they're charging me that now.

OP2 weeks agoI emailed Stallion to ask why I as charged tariffs, I didn't even get their AUTO REPLY to my email that I usually get when I send them something. So either they don't like me asking so many questions, or they turned the auto reply off because they're being spammed this week and are selectively replying (hopefully a notification goes out to address some of my concerns, I'm sure things I want to know, others want to know too).
