I forgot to void a shipping label a couple weeks ago and I tried to do it today buttnow its saying its too late. I want my $12 back cause it feels like Im getting ripped off because Im still on the hook for service I didnt use! Pls help! Real answers only, I dont need any of the usual karens coming on this thread just to rub it in / state the obvious . Yea I know I should of done it sooner - BUT I DIDNT. So I only care to know if theres any thing I can still do about this today. Thanks!

When you joined this (Canada) or the US eBay club where you are located, you, like every other person on here, agreed to the Terms and Conditions and the rules that apply to all of us Karens, every single eBay Karen including you...

is not a valid reason, you have a smartphone, a notepad a pen. set yourself a reminder for things so you do not forget them in the future...

What you can do is set an alarm on your phone to remind yourself about important deadlines in future. It's not fair to accuse eBay or Canada Post for "ripping you off" because they didn't. Are you going go complain at Timmy's next time for forgetting to drink the coffee you bought two weeks ago?

Also, I just checked OP's profile and OP is located in US with no active listings... So it might even have nothing to do with Canada Post.

You can save time and money by printing shipping labels for your sold items on eBay.

Shipping an order in multiple packages

When shipping an order in multiple packages, you can print a different label for each package.

Once you've printed the label for your first package, simply select Print another label for this order from the label confirmation page. You can then enter the weight and dimensions for the next package.

Each additional label you print will have its own tracking number and will be charged separately, based on the package weight and dimensions you entered.

You can reprint your shipping label at no extra cost within 7 days of purchasing it. Simply go to Manage shipping labels and select Reprint.

How to void a shipping label

How long you have to void a shipping label depends on the shipping service you used.

Canada Post: You have 14 days to void a Canada Post shipping label that you printed on eBay. It can take up to 21 days for Canada Post to approve or reject the refund. If it's approved, you'll receive an email that you have been refunded.

Here's how to void a shipping label you printed on eBay:

Go to Manage shipping labels.
Find the item you'd like to void the shipping label for, then from the Actions column, select More Actions, and then select Void.
Choose your reason for voiding the label. If you want to, you can add a message for the buyer.
Select Void shipping label.

If you are talking about a Canada Post label it is Canada Post that sets the time limits, I don't think "I forgot" is sufficient to get Canada Post to make an exception just for you.

If you are talking about UPS or FedEx, those labels are not charged until they reach the carrier.
