Listing on either .CA or .COM and shipping directly from the US... is this possible now?

I have a vintage handbag, made in the USA, that I want to sell via my eBay (or Etsy for that matter) account. My intention is to ship it directly from the US while visiting, meaning I'll be driving it across the border and posting it via USPS . (I haven't sold online since de minimus was revoked, so I'm a bit rusty altogether with cross-border shipping.)
I created a listing on .CA and see that it's visible on .COM, but it's showing as only shipping to Canada. When I first created the listing, I had the option to exclude assorted continents and countries. I excluded everywhere except select European countries and the US. Now I'm trying to edit shipping destinations, but the entire option is no longer visible.
Alternatively, when I tried listing it at .COM, the shipping to the US was fine, but it stated that duties would be applicable because the item location being shown is Canada.
I tried calling eBay and the call got cut off or the agent hung up, and another call request has not been responded to (plus I'm not confident the off-shore agents will have a well-informed answer anyway).
Any experienced with this scenario? Thanks in advance.

If not, did you plan to smuggle it into the US postal system?
Given the current political situation, this does not seem to be a good idea.
Did you know that many of the notorious ICE agents were recruited from the US Border Patrol?
You would be safer (and more legal) to ship using eBay International Shipping.
Your responsibility for delivery using eIS ends when it is accepted by eIS in Mississauga, and you only get the customer's address when they have paid import fees including the Trump Tariff .

·4 months agoYou could do two listings (but you must make sure to end the other listing when one listing sells).
One listing on .com with location of handbag set as USA, with shipping to USA allowed (domestic only, no international) using USPS.
and
One listing on .ca with location in Canada and shipping to USA excluded.
....
Or you can check to see if your handbag qualifies for eBay's new International Shipping (eIS) program to send to the USA. Buyer is billed any tariffs/duty when they buy, you mail package to the processing location in Canada, eIS handles taking it across the border and delivering to the buyer.

OP4 months agoI can't change the location of the bag to USA anymore. Prior to the de minimus debacle, the location was always set as USA. Because the only option for me now on .COM is Canada, it's showing that duties will be due, which is a turnoff for American buyers obviously.
