Is Alaska included in EIS? I do not have any locations excluded from shipping.

·6 months agoWhat is the item? EIS has lots of item types they will not handle (but their filters are not consistant).
FYI - Only 173 of your 210 listings show shipping to the US

In bulk editing I am able to identify which listings do not have a country of origin listed. I have a few more I need to add the country to. Some listings may not ship with EIS... I will have to see

·6 months agoAs @flipistics suggests, there are some items the eIS AI has determined to be problematic to ship to the US in general, and eIS shipping has been disabled for those. However, there's been a glitch that's disabled eIS shipping, period, for many sellers. A fix seems to be getting slowly rolled out for it, though.
I clicked the "view listings" link by your username and got 212 results. I changed my shipping location to an Alaska ZIP code and also got 212 results, but a number of them don't have eIS shipping rates showing up in the search results (they state "shipping not specified"). These could be the victim of the glitch, or they may be ones that the eIS AI has deemed unshippable to the United States. I clicked one of those items at random and changed my shipping location to the Netherlands and got an eIS shipping rate for the Netherlands on the listing page, so I'd say it's more likely that eIS won't handle these items for shipping to the US, be it Alaska, Hawaii, or wherever else the Stars and Stripes fly.
One other possibility, and it's a remote one (so to speak), is that the buyer's shipping address is a PO box. eIS doesn't support shipping to those.

OP6 months agoThe buyer has a residential address. It is on Kodiak, which is an island from what I was told. The weight of the item is less than a kilo and smaller than 30x30x30cm... brand name Little Tikes...
I have shipped overseas before EIS, but never have shipped to Alaska before... I have shipped successfully with EIS to the lower states without issue...
Googled it and AI states that the EIS is expanding to Alaska and Hawaii in Q3 of this year but I have not been able to verify this through ebay sites.

Tarrif related - Had to update country of origin
Shipping Glitch - Had to remove UPS as primary shipping option as package dimensions were too large for UPS, even though EIS ships through Canada Post...
I must now review my listings to ensure country of origin has been input.

·6 months agoI believe that's for the US version of eIS. Weird as it may sound, some American sellers won't ship directly to Alaska or Hawaii. I believe that's generally because they offer flat-rate shipping at rates that don't work when it comes to shipping to those outlying states. I just looked at one of your listings and "Alaska/Hawaii" shows up on the list of "ships to" locations as well as American protectorates such as Puerto Rico.

As an FYI for anyone interested or hadn't spotted.
I did a random test the other day and was checking what countries were and weren't live. In opening N. America USA was disabled(checked). Last time I looked it was fine. Unsure exactly how that is supposed to work but for time being keeping USA unchecked (live).
There is also a new toggle. (it wasn't there the last time I looked.) It shows up at top of the country exclusion list.
