My first international offer
I have been opted into the Ebay International Shipping program. Does Ebay set it as the default for any of my listings? I have a NES game bundle that someone from the UK has sent an offer.
When I review the offer it says ship to Manchester and not the Ebay Hub.
How do I know if I have the shipping program on an item and not normal international shipping? I have provided a screen shot.

·8 months agoI went to your listings and found 2 NES bundles. To check UK shipping I put the shipping to be to the UK for both and the shipping showed up as Ebay International Shipping (EIS) for $29.81. So if you accept your responsible for shipping by the cheapest way possible to the EIS hub in Mississauga and they will forward it from there.
Perhaps someone who has completed an EIS sale can chime in on the process and communication you will get if accepting the offer.

·8 months agoI think you mean "ship by the least expensive domestic shipping method specified in your listing."
The buyer will be paying for what the seller set up on the listing for domestic shipping (plus eIS's charges). If the seller manages to find another, less expensive domestic shipping method and uses that shipping method to get the item to the hub, that will be in contravention of the eIS program rules.
Of course, there may be some sellers who will, for whatever reason, want to use a more expensive shipping method than the one they specified to get the item to the hub and pay for the difference out of their own pocket, but I doubt there will be too many of those. 😁
