New feature - Promoted listings advanced
Summary: rocketscollectibles expresses concern about a new feature related to promoted listings that involves pay-per-click charges, and they feel it's another way to increase fees on items that don't sell. They mention an increase in reliance on promoted listings, which now have higher fees and dynamic listings, making it essential for them to stay competitive. flipistics adds that the feature was initially introduced in beta last fall and seems to have moved beyond beta. They suggest that it might benefit sellers with high-end niche or expensive items, but it's not likely of interest to most sellers.
Another feature added without any news or information.
Seems to be a pay per click promoted listed. With posibility to cap the payment.
Just the idea about getting charged fees on items not selling. I don't like it.
But anyone tested or have feedbacks about this?

·2 years agoI think this was announced and introduced last fall, but in a beta form. I guess it's out of beta now. It's not something most sellers should have any interest in though. MAYBE for people selling very high end niche or expensive items they might benefit.

OP2 years agoThey seems to push A LOT on taking extra fees in any possible way with promoted listings, past months. Increase to 2% minimal, dynamic listings, then now pay per click. Personally having 60% of my sales from promoted listings and being 'forced' to use it to stay competitive in my category. It's very concerning.
