New Policy Regarding Sizes
Summary: greenmangoes expressed concerns about eBay's new policy on listing clothing sizes, which may lead to confusion and misrepresentation. They argue for listing the exact size on the item rather than picking from a limited option list. lotzofuniquegoodies added that eBay is aware of the issue but has no resolution date yet, and they shared that similar challenges exist for book listings. jewels_gems_67 mentioned receiving violations for listing the exact label size and criticized eBay's handling, foreseeing increased returns due to size discrepancies. The discussion reflects frustration over the inflexibility and potential negative impact of the new policy.
I have items with sizes such as S/M, 8-10, PL, etc... and some without a size tag. If I add a size other than the one that is on the item - that is misleading. Although I include measurements in my listings, I think the exact size that is on the tag should be the one added in the listing.
The new policy limits us to use only the sizes provided, choose the closest size, or choose "One Size", I think this could create confusion and misrepresentation, especially since many buyers do not pay close attention to the details.
Unless I'm missing something, I think eBay should reconsider these limitations by allowing more flexibility in size representation and reduce the likelihood of customer dissatisfaction due to discrepancies.

·1 week ago · Edited@jewels_gems_67 I wonder if eBay has a work around for <1 size fits all> ? Sorry, had to throw it out there. ;-) Where "One Size" Appears Most:
Accessories: Scarves, beanies, shawls, and belts.
Loose Apparel: Ponchos, oversized sweaters, and t-shirt dresses.
Stretchy Fabrics: Leggings, lounge sets, and seamless or ribbed knit tops.
Why Brands Use It
Lower Costs: Producing a single pattern reduces manufacturing and inventory risks.
Fast Fashion: Some trend-driven or youth-market brands rely on a single size to turn over inventory quickly.
The Reality of Fit
Not Universal: "One size" usually fits a limited range—often a US size 2 to 12—rather than every body type.
Criticism: The label is often criticized for being unrealistic and excluding plus-size or diverse body shapes.

There is similar inflexibility when trying to list a book with 3 short stories. System only allows for 1 title.

According to the attached it is supposed to be being worked on. No tentative date as of yet for resolution. I had 5. 4 I was able to get creative to fix. The last one I had to end to get off the books....for now. Your suggestion is very reasonable.
