Not all sizes available in new size dropdown menu?
Summary: The discussion addresses issues with eBay's size options for listings, particularly for eBay Canada. lotzofuniquegoodies reports difficulties with mandatory size specifics leading to violations and delays in listing items. devon@ebay mentions that the Product team is working on adding more size and brand options. The conversation reflects the challenges of listing unique items and the complications of using eBay's system when certain size variations get deleted over time.
eBay has added a new dropdown for sizes that does not include all sizes, I have a pair of jeans waist size 33 and this dropdown does not have a 33 nor can you input a custom size, so I am now forced to list these incorrectly. Does anyone know how to fix this? Sometimes I think the developers are just bored and start fixing things that don't need to be fixed, I really don't see how this feature was neccessary to add.

·4 months agoI believe that was announced, at least on dotCOM .
But 33 seems like a normal jeans size.
Sigh.
Workaround - put the size in the Title as well as the description and maybe Condition Description?

The problem appears to be it is a mandatory specific. Incorrect or not available and listing gets banned until it is fixed. I'm up to 4 "violations". Waiting for clothing ICE to appear at my front door any minute.

Gotten several requests yesterday and today for eBay not liking sizes that include variations. (Fits between x & y as an example as per tag on product. You "can" amend but risk if sold item being an INR.
Messaged sdsupport but no word as of yet.
@troys_toys1 Were you able to devise a workaround?
devon@ebay
Hi @lotzofuniquegoodies ! I am not sure of a workaround at this moment but I can ask. I do now that the Product team is actively working on adding more sizing options as well as brands.

·3 weeks ago@devon@ebay Something else on this issue to take into consideration. Some of the sizes sellers may be trying to insert could have been deleted over time. There needs to be room for variations. The data available is not always cut and dry.
