Other then a lot more features is Ebay.com more worth it then Ebay.ca to list?

I have been debating on listing items on Ebay.com because I read somewhere that your listing will have higher ranking. I know you get a lot more features with Ebay.com in comparison to the tools available on Ebay.ca . What do you guys typically do or do you list in both?
My other question is with having a store do I get 10,000 free select category listings on both Ebay.ca and Ebay.com or are they shared?

·2 weeks agoShipping is difficult because on dotCOM "domestic" means USA.
If you do ship to the USA, any listing on dotCA theoretically shows on dotCOM too.
US buyers assume that you are in the States and may be impatient if delivery is slow.

·2 weeks agoNot sure about store listings, but the 250 free listings I get per month are per site. So 250 on .com and 250 on .ca.

It means your store fees will be in US funds and the biggie...You are unable to use calculated shipping which makes selling very challenging to have accurate shipping unless you sell very similar type items. And even though you are selling mostly collectible cards they are NOT supposed to be shipped as letter mail because they have commercial value.
If you want to use eIS you must be listing on ca. And you cannot combine on shipping if you sell 1 listing on ca and another on com to same buyer.

OP2 weeks agoThanks for your help, I was trying to figure out the calculated shipping issue but seems to be impossible. Mostly what I sell has no duties and if it does I just make sure it goes through EIS. I wanted to do a flat rate and ship to US through Canada Post and Zonos but then it prevents me from shipping with a discounted rate to the rest of the world with calculated shipping. Hopefully they allow flat and calculated rates in the same listing one.

·2 weeks agoeBay does not not allow both for one listing. You either do flat shipping or calculated. I suppose you could just duplicate the listing, and do flat on one listing and calculated on the other.

You can use Flat Rate for domestic and Calculated for International/US. Or vice versa.
You can't use Flat Rate for USA and Calculated for Overseas. Nor vice versa.
Shipping is the hardest part of mail order selling.
