Payment issues for US customers
Summary: daisydaisy999 raised a concern about US customers facing difficulties in completing payments, noting that one customer requested to cancel a purchase due to issues with debit or PayPal, while another took unusually long to pay. reallynicestamps mentioned that issues they encountered were typically related to customers with too many UID strikes or restrictions on specific countries, rather than payment platforms. mrdutch1001 reported no recent issues with US buyers, stating their transactions in May went smoothly. byto253 suggested that some payment problems could be excuses for buyer's remorse, although daisydaisy999 observed payment issues in multiple sales, indicating a potential broader issue.
Is anyone else aware of US customers having an issue with paying? I just had someone message me asking me to cancel her purchase because she wasn't able to pay through her debit or paypal. I also had someone buy something yesterday and take a day to pay when I feel like from their feedback that they are normally an instant payer which makes me think that they might have had a problem too. As well, I had someone complain about issues paying a few weeks ago so just wondering if there is something going on that anyone is aware of...?

·2 years agoNo issues with US sales payments. Could very well be a convenient excuse for buyer remorse.

·2 years agoI don't think eBay Canada takes Discover cards.
But generally, the problems I've had were not with eBay or Managed Payments, but with customers who had more UID strikes than I allow or who are in one of the four countries I will not ship too.
