Quick question regarding eBay's International Shipping Program
Hi,
One quick question... if I ship something to the US via the International Shipping Program do I need to worry about paying out of pocket sending it to the Ontario hub?
Or does the buyer pay the shipping to the Ontario hub?
Thanks for your time!

OP5 days agoOk!
Thanks everybody for answering me! :)
A few more questions...
If I list via the EIS do I need to fill out the US shipping info on the auction listing page? or do I leave it default?
and... If I choose "sell a similar item" will that listing be like a new one.. going to the
top on the ebay auctions page?

·1 week agoYes, the buyer pays for the shipping to the hub, based on what you have set up in your listing for shipping within Canada. The amount you get, is shown on the transaction (order details). An EIS order is like a domestic order for you.

·1 week agoAn EIS sale will act like a domestic sale (domestic shipping policy will apply). If you charge shipping domestically, then you get that money to ship.

·1 week agoUnless you are using Free Shipping, the buyer pays you to ship (it's a separate line item) and you use that money to ship to the Mississauga Hub.
The buyer actually paid more than you see, but you get enough to cover shipping domestically.

If you use Free Shipping (not a good idea for international sales) your cost of shipping should be included in the asking price.
Your eBay fee includes a percentage of the buyer's entire domestic payment, but not the cost of shipping from Mississauga to the USA.

·1 week agoApologies, but I’m confused by this statement. If one is using eIS, how can they offer free international shipping?

·1 week agoWhat it means is that the item in the listing would be free shipping for local (Canadian) shipping, but not if they go through eIS. The shipping part to deliver it to the shipping hub would be the seller's responsibility and cost, in that case.
