EIS, can someone explain this to me? No shipping fees? I accepted a $300 offer, but I couldn't send an invoice because it's from EIS. Shipping to EIS will cost me $15.

·6 days agoFree Shipping is an excellent and popular sales gimmick, but remember the gimmick is that your cost of shipping is included in the asking price.
Which is cheaper?
A $300 item with $10 shipping?
or a $310 item with FreeShipping?
As you worked out, you are paying for shipping to Mississauga and the eIS plant.
Your buyer is paying for shipping to him, including shipping from Mississauga, as well as his local sales tax and any import fees.
You will be paying eBay fees on the customer's whole payment.

·6 days ago@brocante6 , if the sale you're referring to is the O'kee- Dokee Soda sign, that item was listed with free Canada Post Expedited Parcel shipping. Therefore $0.00 for shipping the item to EIS in Mississauga.

As a add on the shipping for eis for the first part of an items journey is whatever method you use for Canadian shipping. Call it the default. With eIS orders eBay AUTOMATICALLY sends the invoice. You are not involved. Only when you control any international sales entirely. As an FYI as a longstanding issue, eBay will send an invoice for discounted tracked shipping if that is what customer chooses using eBay labels but we (the seller) are blocked from purchasing a label. You would have to use Zonos to prepay any tariffs if applicable prior to arriving at PO. Something that is NOT built into eBay.
