Will get a Solutions for Small Business Account with some discounts.
You can also use postage stamps which can be purchased at surprisingly steep discounts on eBay (*cough*) . Enough to pay the Zonos charges anyway.
Even though your item might fit in a 2cm envelope that weighs less than 500 grams, it would be illegal to ship it without a customs declaration.

·4 months agoBecause eBay isn’t the only game in town when it comes to purchasing postage.
Besides, when all is said and done, warts and all, the mail is generally the best way for Canadian eBay sellers to get merchandise down to the US at present.

·4 months agoDitto on the above advice, and particularly about NOT using UPS to the US. The buyer WILL get a bill for extra charges and can easily refuse delivery on that basis and then UPS will charge you what it could not collect.
Best thing is to figure out Zonos (it is not hard) and ship by Canada Post.

·4 months agoWhy would anyone in their right mind want to pay for an american's tariff. Americans do not pay canadian's tariffs.

·4 months agoCanada Post is not available through ebay labels, but you can still get labels elsewhere.
Option 2:
Use Zonos prepay app, and buy a label through Canada Post. Sticker/Paper collectible should be duty free if classified correctly, and the Zonos Prepay app fee should then be waived ($2.99 or $3.99), if that is the item. Instructions for getting a declaration ID that can be used at post office OR online through Canada Post's snapship:

Signup for business account (free) first to get the business discount, under 100g Tracked Packet USA would be about $9.32 today:

Edit: without SfSB account Tracked Packet USA would be $14.45 instead for under 100g

·4 months agoYou’ll still end up paying more than you would through eBay, but with luck, it will be less than a $12.60 difference.
Keep in mind that depending on what you’re selling, your buyer may not appreciate the import charges on delivery that are associated with UPS Ground shipments to the United States.
