I sell stamps on ebay, and I really love doing that. Recently, I came upon articles on the use of variations in listings and I found it could be a powerful tool to boost my selling.
However, I tried many ways without success to use variations. The variation button is simply non available for stamp selling. I also found the list of the catefories where variations are available and stamps aren't included in this list.
I am certain that using variations in stamps listings would be a great tool not only for the seller, but also for the buyer. I explain:
When I sell corner blocks of stamps, I prefer to sell them separatly because many don't want to buy all the blocks, so, I have to do 4 listings to sell those stamps. If variations were available, the buyer woul have the choice take all or some of the blocks in on single listing.
I have many stamps that are too cheap to be sold alone and those stamps could be included in a listing with others, and the buyer would simply have to choose the ones he wants. Curiously, today, the stamps that are the hardest to find on ebay are the cheapest ones because to sell them you often have to buy others that you don't need because the buyer must include these items with others.
These are two examples but, there are many others that could show that variations in stamps would be a good tool
Can someone tell me why variations aren't available and if by any chance they are how I can use them.
