What happens with items that were made in the USA?
I have about 1,000 CD's listed on both .com and .ca that were made in the US. Can I still ship those or is there going to be a problem?

·11 months agoUnclear, especially if the country of origin isn't clearly labelled on the back of the inlay. My personal opinion is that it would be wise to turn all shipping to the USA off for at least a month until some of this stuff gets sorted out. The border is going to be pure chaos for a while.
Once I see how things settle, I'm hoping to open up limited sales to the States again, probably in October or early November for books that are made in the USA. I'm not sure whether I will or not for other types of items.

I have been double checking to make sure it is clearly labelled "Made in the US." Sometimes things are not indicated where made, those I do not consider as made in the US. They clearly have to say Made in the US for me to label that as the COO.
I think I will just put myself on time away for a few weeks starting Monday and just see what happens.
Sales for both Canada and US have pretty much dried up this week.

·11 months agoMake sure to fill in the HS code on the Ebay shipping page as well. Look-up of the HS codes is very easy now with Google A.I. whereas before, trying to find it on some company website by putting in the type of item was a nightmare.

·11 months agoBefore all this, you could tick off "U.S." for country of origin, but if they (border people) decided to delve into it, you could find yourself having to produce a "Certificate of origin" even if the label on the device said made in U.S. and you could simply go on the internet to verify that at the company website.
