I ship orders almost exclusively via Canada Post Lettermail within Canada from Prince Edward Island, and have been doing so for 15+ years. My shipping policy is Economy Shipping 1-10 business days and my handling time is 1 business day. Shipping is included in all eBay listings (Free Shipping). Regardless of if I pick: Economy Shipping 1-10 business days Canada Post Lettermail 4-6 business days Standard Shipping 1-7 business days Canada Post Expedited Lite 1-8 business days "Free 4 day delivery" is being advertised to buyers in various parts of the country. I notice that Toronto and surrounding areas causes this incorrect estimate to be advertised to buyers. If I set the postal code to my very own postal code (C0A 1H5), it advertises 1-10 business days which reflects the shipping option I have chosen. If I set the postal code to Barrie, Ontario (L4M 0A2), it advertised Free 4 Day delivery. The estimated shipping timeframe needs to be adjusted so that regardless of postal code, it shows buyers 1-10 business days. All 4 shipping options mentioned above are affected by this. The amount of negative feedback and cases opened by buyers who don't receive their purchase in 4 days is very high accordingly. This is a recent change on eBay, and needs to be changed back to how it was previously.

eBay's Business Communication to Sellers
Regularly I get notified on items I should Promote , Items where my price is a percentage higher than others and today if I'm understanding their message, "your listing is being changed in to an Auction from a Buy It Now" because of my sending out an Offer which they suggested. Well, changed or not, it no longer exists. I'm not aware eBay can change the format of clients' listings. Sell, win or lose, objectives between Seller and eBay can conflict.

The approval system is frustrating.

So how do I tell posts I've already read that have updates I haven't seen?
I don't see any filters or ways to arrange things so I know what ones I've already looked at or that have "new to me" updates? Perhaps I'll like this new board format in a few months...

New forum, and already missing discussions from last week and previous features...
The new forum is here, but some very recent posts have already disappeared, like the one talking about the loss of knowledge this change will produce. I was tagged in it, and I repleid to it, but it's not showing anymore in my own profile now... Way to go eBay for transparency and efficiency! Also, you can't see now who is the last user who replied on a post, while that information was present in the previous version of the community boards. Why remove this useful feature?!? And no preview when posting too... EDIT: First new user post on this version! Yeah! :-D

Ebay international shipping service
Don't happy with ebay international shipping services (US to Canada): they are sending parcels through their hubs which is WAY LONGER and using courers (UPS) who charges extra for process customs services because ebay dont collect custom taxes at the time of the purchase. Before taxes was charged at the time of the purcase and delivery was done by regular US Post/Canada Post which was twice chipper and faster. Now I cannot buy lots of staff ONLY because of shipping cost + extra UPS charges which turns total shipping cost the same or more then an actual item. Thank you

Best to sell David Baldacci books in series or individually?
Hi, I have quite a few of Baldacci books. Some series are complete, some not. I was going to post them by series even if incomplete but I am wondering if it is the way to go. Has anybody have experience with selling books and if yes which is the best way to go? Please keep in mind that I am in Canada and shipping costs are high. Thank you.

Ebay fees
Hi Why is no one complaning about all the fees. ebay makes up.. Store fees. Promotional fees. Ad fees. Final valus fees. IF you don't perform, performance fees. Listing fees.. Their ad fees should be for item only you are selling. not the total. That includes shipping and taxes. This means Ebay is double and sometimes triple charging. If your charging "X" on shipping they are charging a fee of that. means X becomes less. Ebay is charging taxes then fees on the taxes.?? Guys and Gals wake up smell the coffee. Drill down in your selling item.. view all that charges..I have to cancel my sale sometimes because i would loose money on it.

How to add a Business number (GST) to existing eBay account.
Hello, I just received my business number from the CRA. I do not know how to add this to my existing eBay account in Canada so the CRA can see that taxes are being collected. Any help or a direct link to add this to my eBay store would be greatly appreciated.
