How to add a Business number (GST) to existing eBay account.
Hello, I just received my business number from the CRA. I do not know how to add this to my existing eBay account in Canada so the CRA can see that taxes are being collected. Any help or a direct link to add this to my eBay store would be greatly appreciated.
Try this. If you're using a desktop and are signed in to your account, at the extreme top left corner you should see a little drop down menu that says Hi ******. From the drop down list select Account settings. My guess is you should see your account type shown there, if so there may be an option to change from individual to business there. Once switched they'll ask for your Business number and how much info to share publicly. No guarantee, used to be that simple but who knows nowadays.
